Help✨ Getting startedAdding your venue or brand

Adding your venue or brand

One login, multiple venues or brands

A single Covered login can manage more than one venue or brand — you'll see them as separate entries you can switch between from the account switcher.

Adding another venue or brand

From the account switcher, choose “Add venue or brand,” pick Venue or Brand, and fill in the name (and location, for a venue). It's created instantly and you're switched straight into it — venue type isn't asked for here, only at signup (see “Creating your Covered account”); a venue added this way starts with no venue type set until you set one in its profile.

Setting up your profile

Head to Settings → Profile to fill in the details customers see on your public page:

  • Logo (4:3) — shown as your thumbnail

  • Hero image (16:9) — your banner image

  • Description

  • Venue type — Bar/Club or Comedy Club. This determines how ticketing works for every event you create — see “How ticketing works on Covered”.

  • Capacity and opening hours

Venue type locks after your first event

Venue type is freely changeable in Settings → Profile right up until you create your first event — after that, it's locked in the UI entirely, with no self-service way to undo it. If it genuinely needs to change later, you'll need to contact support.

Tags

Settings → Tags lets you define labels like “Brunch” or “Late night” that you can apply per-event — see “Organizing events with tags”.
