Creating your Covered account
Choose your account type
Venue — “I represent a venue, space or hospitality business.” Use this if you run a physical space like a bar or club. If you choose this, you'll also pick a venue type (Bar/Club or Comedy Club) — this sets how ticketing and capacity work for every event you create, and it locks once you've created your first event.
Promoter — “I create, promote or manage events and nights.” Use this if you run events without owning the venue itself — you'll enter the venue's name and address per event instead, and skip the venue type step entirely (promoter events always use independent per-ticket-type capacity).
You can add more venues or brands to the same login later, so don't worry about getting this perfect on day one.
Fill in your details
You'll need your name, your venue or brand name, an email address, and a password (at least 8 characters, confirmed twice). Venue accounts also enter a location and venue type at this step — promoters skip both, since their events each carry their own venue address and are always ticketed. You'll need to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before you can continue.
UK only, for now
Covered is currently only open to UK-based venues and promoters — you'll see this called out on the signup page itself.
Confirm your email
Covered sends a confirmation link to the email you signed up with. You'll need to click it before you can log in for the first time — check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
