Connecting Meta Pixel
From the Integrations page, add your Meta Pixel ID, and optionally a Conversions API token and test event code, then turn tracking on. The token is never shown again in the portal once it's saved. Use “Test connection” to check it's working, and keep an eye on the delivery-health readout (delivered/pending/failed) once tracking is live — the status badge will show Not verified, Connected, or Connection error.
What gets tracked
Covered sends Meta each step of a booking: viewing your page, viewing an event, adding tickets, starting checkout, entering payment details and completing the purchase. Each step is sent from the visitor's browser and from Covered's servers, and Meta counts each step once. Customer details such as email and phone are encrypted (hashed) before they're sent. Visitors who don't accept marketing cookies are never tracked.
Using the booking widget on your own website? The widget follows your website's own cookie banner — see Adding the booking widget to your website.
Testing before you go live
Copy the test event code from the Test events tab in Meta Events Manager into Advanced: test event code on the Integrations page, then save. While a code is saved, the integration shows Test mode and every event appears in Meta's Test events tab instead of your live data. Remember to clear the code and save when you're done — otherwise your live tracking stays in test mode.
