Setting up your sending address and marketing settings

Marketing emails toggle

Marketing → Settings has a single on/off switch for this venue's marketing sending. Turning it off immediately pauses every campaign send without deleting anything. Only managers, admins and owners can change it.

Sending address

Campaigns need a verified sending address of your own (e.g. info@yourvenue.com) before they can go out — this applies to real campaigns, scheduled sends, and test sends alike. There's no shared Covered address to fall back to.

To set one up: enter your address in Settings and request verification. Covered's team reviews each request before it's sent on to AWS for verification. Once approved, check that inbox for a confirmation email from AWS and click the link, then use "Check status" on the Settings page to confirm it's gone through. Campaigns can't send until this shows as verified.

Deliverability

Once you've sent at least one campaign, this panel shows your sending status, risk level, bounce rate and complaint rate, and whether sending is currently active or paused. Covered may automatically pause a venue's sending if these get too high, to protect deliverability for every venue sharing the platform's sending reputation.
